BULAWAYO – A 17-year-old Zimbabwean actor and rapper, Br3eze, has dropped two musical tracks -Till You Stay Low and Snakes.
Real name Brighton Mzacana, Br3eze is a third form student at Ark of Hope in Bulawayo. He was part of Daniel Lasker Production’s award-winning short film Red Mariah, which scooped the Bulawayo Arts Awards.
His will to venture into the music industry has led to him releasing the two tracks which he launched at Khulumani FM Tuesday.
“I started rap music this year, although it has been my strong art since my fifth grade,” said Br3eze. “Snakes is all about the people in you circle just because you have something that benefits them, once the source is no longer there they expose you and stab your back where it hurts the most. Till you stay low is relatively the same idea and it’s a collaboration with Kulture the kid.”
He has been inspired by the likes of Emtee a South African hip-hop award-winning artiste, Nasty C, Tupac and Lil Wayne.
Br3ze, who has had the opportunity to play for the president of the county in 2017 at a swimming competition, has an honors in playing marimba, awarded by Rainbow Blaze and National Awards Arts.
“I want people to work together in all sectors of the industry be it promoter or sponsor even the singers themselves because I believe unity leads to success and people don’t have that here,” said Br3ze.
