JOHANNESBURG – Kaizer Chiefs will lock horns with Cape Town City at the Mbombela Stadium on March 31, in what promises to be the pick of the Nedbank Cup quarter-final matches, whose dates and venues were announced by the Premier Soccer League Monday.

The Nedbank Cup is South Africa’s equivalent of Barclays Premiership’s FA Cup and Spanish La Liga’s Copa del Ray. Its winner takes home a checque of R7million and qualifies for the CAF Confederations Cup.

The PSL announced the games would be rolled out between March 27 and 31, adding tickets were already on sale at TicketPro outlets countrywide.  They sell at R40 for adults and R15 for children under 12.

National First Division outfits, Cape Umoya United and TS Galaxy, will set the ball rolling in each side’s maiden quarterfinal fixture of the cup, when they square up at Cape Town’s Athlone Stadium. Kick-off is slated for 7:30pm.

Up next three days later will be Bloemfontein Celtic coming up against their former coach, when they draw daggers at home to Golden Arrows at the Dr Rantlai Molemela Stadium. They are scheduled to play at 3pm.

Later in the evening, 2010 champions Bidvest Wits will host a rejuvenated Chippa United side in a 8:1pm fixture scheduled for the Bidvest Stadium in Johannesburg.
