JOHANNESBURG – The South African Premier Soccer League has changed kickoff times for both Absa Premiership and National First Division afternoon matches, effective this weekend.

The PSL said in a statement Thursday that afternoon matches, which used to start at 3:30pm, would now start at 3pm as part of the winter switch.

“The Premier Soccer League (PSL) would like to advise members of the public and media about the change in kick-off times of the afternoon fixtures with effect this coming weekend,” read the league’s statement.

“This is in line with PSL’s standard practice of adjusting afternoon kick-off times in winter and in summer. The 15h30 kick-off time will now move to 15h00. This will apply to all Absa Premiership, National First Division and Cup Competitions.”
