JOHANNESBURG – Zimbabweans in South Africa have responded overwhelmingly to calls for them to support victims of Binga floods, donating especially clothes meant to support the less-fortunate in the remote district in Zimbabwe’s Matabeleland North.

Last week, community social activist, Sifiso Khulumani Ngwenya made a passionate plea to Zimbabweans via whatsapp messages and a video, in which he announced the launch of an initiative to donate in kind to the victims of the floods.

Early this week, Ngwenya said he was happy with the positive response and pleaded for more donations before the available ones could be shipped across the border to their intended beneficiaries.

Ngwenya posted his latest video below:

“You saw me hungry but you did not feed me…” Sifiso Khulumani Ngwenya pleads for donation on behalf of Binga flood victims.
