Why last-minute shoppers will miss Nedbank Cup final

JOHANNESBURG – Tickets for the Nedbank Cup final, slated for Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on May 19, have been sold out – barely 24 hours after they went on sale.

The match will pit South Africa’s famed “Cup Kings” Kaizer Chiefs and National First Division side TS Galaxy.

Chiefs will be vying for their second ever Nedbank Cup trophy triumph, after they beat SuperSport United 1-0 in the 2013 final to complete a League and Cup double.

The PSL said in a statement Tuesday that tickets for the rest of the ground – which went on sale Monday afternoon, had been bought, with only hospitality packages still available.

Tickets for the Corporate Suite Hospitality go for R1,699 each as are those for the Silver PVT Suite, while those for the Gold PVT Suite go for R1,999.
