Zimbabwe: Suspended ruling party youths threaten to sing on
* Duo say have evidence of many corruption cases
* The two insist that Godfathers of cartels have bled the economy to death
* Zacc wants Matutu, Tsenengamu to bring on the evidence
FORMER Zanu PF youth leaders Lewis Matutu and Godfrey Tsenengamu say they are ready to confront the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (Zacc) with evidence confirming their corruption allegations against Kuda Tangwirei of Sakunda and others, Zim morning post can reveal.
Tsenengamu and Matutu on Monday accused Kudakwashe Tagwirei of being the Godfather of cartels, sinking the economy into the mire through corruption.
In an interview with this publication, the two said Zacc should tell them which case they wanted taken to them out of the many corrupt cases which they have documented.
“Zacc must tell us which cases they want us to provide evidence for, because we have our hands full of different evidences against corrupt business moguls,” the two said.
Zacc reportedly invited the two former Zanu PF leaders to provide evidence implicating Tagwirei and others in corruption matters they raised during their Press conference.
“We called the two to bring up evidence so that we start investigations, because we cannot start from nowhere,” Zacc spokesperson John Makamure said.
Tsenengamu and Lewis Matutu are being accused of holding an unauthorised Press conference on Monday, in which they fingered controversial business mogul Tagwirei and other business leaders as godfathers of cartels that have bled the economy to death.
Meanwhile, Pupurai Togarepi was also been caught in the Press conference mire for failing to exercise control over the two youths. Zimmorningpost.com
